Grit Part-Time/Seasonal Packaging Assistant

Grit Coffee is a premier coffee roaster and distributor based out of Charlottesville, VA, with shops in Charlottesville, Richmond, and Williamsburg. Our core focus is to offer a high-quality and approachable coffee experience by thoughtfully roasting and serving great coffee. Coffee or hospitality experience is preferred, but not necessary.

  • Coffee Order Fulfillment
    (1- 2 days per week)

    Duties include:
    weighing, bagging, labeling and sealing roasted coffee into bags and prepping them for shipment and local delivery.

    You must have the ability to be on your feet for long stretches of time, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, read invoices, and operate machinery, and perform basic cleaning duties.

    Perks of working here include free coffee (brewed and whole bean) and working with other people who are super passionate about coffee!

    From the farm to the cup in a cafe or someone's home, many hands work hard to produce quality, delicious coffee, and a Packaging Assistant is an equally important, yet often unseen, part of that chain!

    Job Types: Part-time

  • Pay: $18/hr

  • Hours and shifts may vary but will be confirmed and agreed upon prior. Average 8-16 hours per week.
