ABOUT THE ROLE
Grit Coffee is looking for a Regional Manager to oversee 3–4 shops in the Richmond and Williamsburg areas. This role ensures each location upholds our high standards for product quality, customer service, and operational excellence, while supporting and developing our Shop Leads and teams.As Regional Manager, you’ll balance big-picture leadership with hands-on involvement. You’ll guide hiring and training, coach leaders, manage shop performance, and foster collaboration across departments. This is a full-time role that requires flexibility for seasonal needs and includes at least one working shift per week at each shop in your region.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Lead & Develop People
Hire, onboard, and coach Shop Leads and staff.
Provide training, and regular check-ins to grow strong teams.
Conduct performance reviews and manage accountability.
Drive Operational Excellence
Oversee POS systems, scheduling, labor goals, and cash/timecard accuracy.
Support equipment and facility needs, vendor coordination, and shop supplies.
Step in for emergency shift coverage when needed.
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements.
Foster Communication & Collaboration
Act as the link between shops, leadership, and departments.
Share updates, ensure consistency in processes, and keep shop teams informed.
Partner with coffee leadership on seasonal drink launches and menu updates.
Train staff on new products and communicate company initiatives.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Experience managing multiple retail or food & beverage locations.
Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
Operational know-how with scheduling, labor goals, and POS systems.
Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and step in as needed.
ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain).
A collaborative, values-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Annual salary: $45,000–$50,000 (reviewed annually).
Transportation: A company vehicle will be provided for your commute between the Williamsburg and Richmond shops. Gas and maintenance on the provided vehicle will be covered by the company. If the company vehicle is unavailable, you will be reimbursed $0.67/mile for approved work travel.
15 days Paid Time Off (prorated by start date).
Health insurance (with $310 monthly employer contribution) after 30 days.
Vision & dental insurance after 60 days.
Life insurance coverage.
Simple IRA with 3% company match.
Paid parental leave: up to 12 weeks at base pay (after 18 months full-time).

40-45 hrs per week
Minimum of 20 hours per week “on bar” in your shops; with the goal of one shift per week at each shop in your region
