Grit Coffee is a premier coffee roaster and distributor based out of Charlottesville, VA, with shops in Charlottesville, Richmond, and Williamsburg.   • Not a typical warehouse job - We’re coffee people first, and production workers second.

    What we’re looking for:
    Coffee people who want to be closer to the product. As a full time employee this person will assist with basic roastery functions.

    Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

    • Tasting new coffees

    • Scooping/weighing whole bean coffee

    • Assist with packaging and labeling products for shipment

    • Unloading and organizing shipments and deliveries

    • Sorting and organizing inventory

    • Assisting with canning cold brew on an assembly line (2 days a week)

    • Maintaining a clean and organized work area

    • Janitorial duties such as mopping, sweeping, trash removal, and bathroom cleaning

    • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required

    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • $18 / hour

  • 40 hours per week. Flexible schedule between the hours of 7am-5pm, Monday -Friday. (A consistent schedule will be agreed upon once hired)
